Organization profile

The Global Health Center (CSG) is a research center at Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. Its lines of work are related to the field of global public health, with the Demonstration Project for the Control of Taeniasis/Cysticercosis being one of the largest studies conducted at this center. In partnership with other institutions, other projects related to cysticercosis are channeled and directed. Likewise, the great capacity of our human resources, trained in field interventions and human research ethics, allows us to collaborate with other research groups such as CRÓNICAS (Center of Excellence for Chronic Diseases), the Institute of Tropical Neurology at the University of Limoges, and the US Navy Medical Research Unit (NAMRU-6), among others.
