The Integrated Unit for Research, Science, and Technology Management (UIGICT) of the Integrated Faculty of Medicine, Stomatology, and Nursing at the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University (UPCH) is the advisory unit for the promotion, management, coordination, support, and dissemination of the research carried out by our professors and students. To achieve its objectives, the UIGICT works especially to promote the publication of completed works, in accordance with UPCH's research policy, and coordinates various research-related activities with the academic departments. It proposes the research policy for the three faculties and ensures the fulfillment of its objectives, in coordination with the academic departments. It develops synergies and agreements with peer institutions in Peru and around the world. It participates in the evaluation for the allocation of financial incentives to the best research projects through the Integrated Faculty Research Support Fund and the Francisco Tejada and Semíramis Reátegui Annual Medicine Scholarship.
