Research Group on Health Status in Older Adults

The Research Group on Health Status in Older Adults investigates the determinants of health in older adults living in the community, with the aim of subsequently proposing interventions that help improve the health status and quality of life of this population group. Its importance stems from the fact that, due to the particular and heterogeneous characteristics of the older adult population and its growth as a population group in our country, there is a need to understand the health profile of older adults in the community and the effects that their living environment has on them.
