Organization profile

The Institute of Gerontology conducts and promotes research in the field of geriatrics and gerontology, developing multidisciplinary, innovative, and representative lines of research in accordance with national and international realities. It also offers training and services to medical, non-medical, and technical professionals from public and private institutions in our country to contribute to solving the problems faced by older adults in our society. It is the first research institute in the field of geriatrics and gerontology in our country and is recognized as a discipline of geriatric research at the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University by CONCYTEC.
