Animal Histology and Pathology Laboratory

The Animal Histology and Pathology Laboratory performs histological and pathological studies of domestic animals (cattle, South American camelids, sheep, pigs, horses, dogs, cats, etc.), wildlife, and marine and freshwater aquatic animals. It also develops technological packages in animal pathology. The diagnosis of pathological samples from various species is of utmost importance as a diagnostic aid to clinical veterinarians in making decisions regarding their respective treatments and prognoses.
