Organization profile
The Dental Materials Laboratory is responsible for the development and clinical and laboratory evaluation of the performance of dental materials used in the reconstruction of lost or damaged dental structure, as well as materials used to prevent such loss, whether polymeric, ceramic, or bioactive, considering their mechanical, chemical, and biological interactions specific to the oral environment. Likewise, clinical application techniques for materials are evaluated to ensure safe practice, considering improvements in people's health and quality of life. In addition, equipment and instruments are analyzed to improve the performance of materials or their application techniques.
