Organization profile

The Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Food Safety in Veterinary Medicine conducts research on the effect of natural extracts on the nutrition of production animals as natural growth promoters, research on natural drugs for topical application in animals. It also conducts work on antimicrobial residues from animal husbandry and their processing and subsequent application in different areas, probiotics and s in animals, microbiology and food safety of livestock and fishery products, and studies of the microbiological quality of livestock environments. The current context of the importance of animal-based foods and animal nutrition in achieving products with high protein content and low risk for consumers is important for the livestock and hydrobiological industry in our country. Appropriate nutrition in animals guarantees the quality of products but also a lower price for them, Therefore, the concepts of animal nutrition and safety are intertwined to achieve a safe product intended for human consumption.
