Organization profile

The Epidemiology, STD, and HIV Unit seeks to produce and disseminate knowledge relevant to the control of HIV and sexually transmitted infections, as well as to achieve advances in medical informatics and operational research for implementation in public health services. It also develops projects related to global health, including the area of point-of-care diagnostics (PPLA).
