Organization profile

The Mental Disorders Research Unit conducts research and provides thesis advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels on a variety of topics, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychometrics, the structure of psychiatric symptomatology, the nosology of mental disorders, women's mental health, epidemiology, and mental health and COVID. Mental health problems are a major cause of disease burden worldwide and particularly in our country, especially among the population aged 15 to 45. Mental health is therefore considered a research priority.
