Organization profile
The Experimental Microbiology Unit provides services to companies wishing to develop innovation and development projects with tax benefits, as part of the Scientific Research and Technological Development Center under Law 30309. All this is possible thanks to the fact that in 2017 the laboratory obtained CONCYTEC accreditation for these purposes. Its importance lies in its mission to transfer its research results to society in order to achieve an impact on health, carrying out interventions with community participation in the control of tropical and infectious diseases, including those caused by biological vectors (malaria, dengue, yellow fever, Zika, and chikungunya).
