The Quality Control Service Unit performs analyses and issues test reports, technical reports, and quality control protocols for human and veterinary medicines, biological products, cosmetics, medical devices, pesticides, and supplies in general, with the utmost objectivity, confidentiality, and seriousness, using advanced technologies. Quality control analyses and tests are important because they are the way to ensure that a product complies with the specifications indicated by the manufacturer and meets consumer needs. Quality controls allow for continuous improvement and refinement of the product, establishing optimal production quality levels for the company. The Quality Control Service performs analyses and tests using calibrated equipment and qualified personnel, using primary reference materials from the pharmacopoeia (USP and BP), ATCC reference strains, certified laboratory animals, and calibrated material. The analyses are carried out in accordance with official works, the techniques indicated by the manufacturer, and applying the quality system based on ISO/IEC 17025 and WHO GLP in each of its analysis processes.
