Doctorate in Geosciences from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (RJ, Brazil). Trained as a hydrobiologist at the UNMSM and Master of Marine Sciences in the Master's Program at the Universidad Cayetano Heredia. I have published ecological studies of benthic foraminifera on the continental shelf off Callao and Pisco, investigating temporal variability in relation to extreme environmental conditions such as sulfur plumes using satellite imagery. I also analyze the use of species as indicators of different geochemical conditions on the seabed in the past. I have experience in directing and participating in research projects on climate change, oceanography, and aquaculture. I am a co-founder of FORHUMS, whose vision is to strengthen and diversify the line of research related to (paleo)ecology and geochemistry associated with foraminifera and other benthic communities.
