Personal profile
I am an economist with an MSc in Health Economics and a PhD in Health Systems. My work focuses on analyzing health financing and public policy. For 15 years, I was a research professor at the Health Systems Research Center of the National Institute of Public Health, where I was Deputy Coordinator of the Master of Science in Health Systems and President of the Health Systems College. Since 2019, I have been a professor at the Faculty of Public Health and Administration at Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University, where I was also Director of the School of Health Administration, Public Health, and Global Health, head of the Public Health and Global Health program, and Coordinator of the Master's in Health Management. Since 2024, I have also been a professor in the Department of Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, as well as a researcher at CRONICAS, the Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases.
