PhD in Functional Ecology from the Franco-Peruvian Doctoral School in Life Sciences between the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) and the University of Montpellier, France, and MSc in Zoology from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Biologist graduated and licensed from UPCH, Director of the Punta San Juan Program, Director of the Center for Environmental Sustainability, and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at UPCH. She is a Full Associate Professor in the Department of Biological and Physiological Sciences in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. PI of various research, education, and training projects in Punta San Juan and Marcona. Her research focuses on population ecology, trophic ecology, and conservation studies of marine top predators in the Humboldt Current. She has worked as a consultant for national and international organizations interested in applied research development. She has participated in consultancies in both the public and private sectors. She participates in technical committees at the national and international level on endangered species and marine species strandings.
