Resumen
Observation satellites have revolutionized our ability to monitor the Earth's surface, providing vast spatio-temporal data. This data, which captures recurring patterns and spatial dynamics, holds great potential for various applications, including public health. This research introduces a bioinformatics platform that harnesses spatio-temporal information from satellite imagery to address critical public health challenges. Specifically, one aims to predict and manage epidemics in Peru by leveraging geo-climatic parameters derived from LANDSAT multispectral satellite images.
