Resumen

We analyzed cytokines pretreatment and posttreatment among syphilis patients to assess cure after treatment. HIV status was associated with changes in Eotaxin and IL1RA levels. We found no relationship between cytokine levels and syphilis stage. Other molecules need to be assessed as potential early markers of treatment response.
